The article outlines the interdisciplinary nature of cognitive linguistics, linking it with cognitive psychology, philosophy, and linguistics. It provides an overview of scholarly views, including those of S. Askoldov, Y. Stepanov, and V. Maslova, highlighting the multifaceted and culturally embedded nature of concepts.
