Abstract

The development of students’ spirituality through the use of literary books plays a significant role in shaping their worldview, moral
values, and social responsibility. This research investigates the impact of Eastern and modern literature on the educational and spiritual growth of students. The study, conducted in 2024 across several schools in Uzbekistan, involved 62 students divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group was taught using both Eastern and modern literature, incorporating role-playing, questionnaires, and discussions, while the control group received traditional educational methods. The results revealed that students in the experimental group showed notable improvements in their spiritual development, worldview, and attitudes towards family and society, compared to those in the control group. This research emphasizes the importance of integrating literary education in fostering students’ spiritual growth and contributing to their overall development.
